Excel and Data Cache Integration

Being able to work with distributed Cache’s to scale Excel and to enable automated used of headless excel is something that Financial institution and online Gaming companies quite often need to do. Two of the big players have recently published comprehensive blog posts on how this can be achieved.
The first is from Oracle who show how Excel can be integrated with their Coherence product using a combination Coherence, Java, .Net, Visual Studio & Office XP.
The second is from GigaSpaces who have a really comprehensive post that shows an enterprise use of their Excel solution in Algorithmic trading with a detailed walk through.
